    Simple question for ya.

They are anti-gun. I don't support them. Why do you? Any place that takes them will take a Postal Money Order as well.

Problems with dillon 550 and case feeder

Just curious, but have you asked Dillon about it? I have called them in the past about my 550b, and they have always had the right answer for me. They know their stuff!

    Plastic Ammo Boxes??

When I first started reloading many years ago, I bought and used the plastic boxes to put my reloads in. They sure looked purty sitting on my shelves! But, after arriving at the loads I liked, I just started putting the reloads into 30cal ammo cans in bulk. When I go out to shoot, I grab the...

What did I miss? Just checked the Ruger site, now we are waiting for 30 days...??

    Restamping brass?

Back in the late 70's, I saw some brass that had a circle stamped on the head equidistance between the primer and the edge. This mostly obliterated the original headstamp (you could still tell the caliber). My mentor at the time said that was done by an old commercial reloader to show that his...

    Do you handload?

I got into reloading back in 1978, by begging a local commercial reloader to give me a job. He could not afford an employee, so we worked out a deal.....I worked, he paid me in reloading equipment and supplies. I learned as I worked and have never looked back. I load everything I shoot...

    Concealed carry & military bases

It is a Federal installation, and from what I know, weapon policy (and just about every other policy) is up to the current Base Commander. Some are pro-gun, some are anti-gun. But, overall, most Commanders take a dim view of anybody not under their control having a weapon on their Base! Best...

    Vibrator Brass Cleaner

For those cruddy cases like rondog showed (or any discolored cases), I just use lemon juice. I put a quart of the cheapest variety I can find (Dollar General, $1.25) in a sealed rock tumbler (don't dilute), and tumble for an hour or so. The juice turns almost black, but can be reused for 2 or...

    30-30 youth load

If you are looking for a reduced recoil load for her, I would recommend you look into IMR Trail Boss with cast lead bullets. I have had great success with Trail Boss and gas checked cast lead bullets in my 30-06. Very little recoil, and very accurate.

    Gunbroker ????'s

That's my complaint with Gunbroker too. Most have no bids because of a too high opening price....OR.....they start at a reasonable price, but have a RESERVE that is way up there, and nobody gets to it, even though there is a fair amount of bidding. Then there is the "auction" that the...

Long gun/ hand gun pair for SD and Fun?

I was lucky to score my Marlin 1894C in Washington last year while on vacation. Since then I have been using it in combination with my CCW piece, a S&W model 36 (snubby 38 special, with Crimson Trace grips). Both are much fun to shoot, from low power Trail Boss loads (in the 38),to full power...

New gun shop reality series on Showtime

Just guessing here, Westermeyer, but if you wanted to make a TV series that portrayed gunowners and gunsellers as backward redneck nuts, which business would you choose to film at? The Shootist or The Firing Line? Just wondering...

"Bulge carrying" is the best of both worlds

Well, my daddy used to tell me: Son, don't wrestle with a pig...you both get dirty, and the pig likes it. If Logos thinks I'm a liar, he is welcome to his opinion of me, and I am entitled to my own opinion of him. I have better things to do today than argue with this troll.

"Bulge carrying" is the best of both worlds

Here in Show Low, Arizona, I see people open carrying all the time. They carry in restaurants, grocery stores, the car wash, Wal-Mart (gosh!). Nobody cares. Nobody calls the police. I CCW all the time, and sometimes when I carry my 1911 outside the belt covered with a shirt, it is visible...

not a big fan of gunbroker dot com

I just got a good deal on GunBroker on some 223 brass. I bid what I wanted to pay for it, and I got it. I did not over pay. I think we both did ok on the deal, and thats what it all adds up to. If its more than you want to pay....look elsewhere....no problem.

How Could a SCOTUS Justice Vote "No"?

This stuff gives me a headache....if the States are not bound by the Second Amendment, then logic dictates that they are not bound by ANY Amendment. So, a state could (logically) not have to enforce the 1st, 5th, 14th, etc. Does this make any sense?
