I just threw some Ahrends Cocobolo grips on my 686P, and its looking fantastic. They feel 10 times better than the standard Hogue grips (which I thought were also great by the way). They're a little beefier and give a bit better purchase on palm swell and finger grooves. Here it is:

Man, no one has posted here in a while! I'm bringing this thread back to life. I just placed my order for a S&W 686P 6" 7 shot revolver. I also just purchased a Bianchi 5BHL holster and a nice set of Hogue Rosewood Grips. I'll post pics when it comes. Keep this thread alive!
