    CCW gun too accurate?

What I'm thinking is "Am I training to kill some one." Its what a lawyer will ask at a hearing. If I just "spray and pray" as you see on the news every day would I be OK as a panicked citizen? I asked a cop friend of mine and he said "Empty your gun like you were scared to death and shooting at...

    Any lefty shooters?

My brother was in the Marine Corp. and he said more right handed snipers are going to left handed rifles so they never have to change there grip on the stock.

Ripped Off By Tyler Trigger Shoes?

I just went to Tyler's web site and the new owner sounds like a stand up guy with a lot of class. As i said earlier the trigger shoe I received is top quality and I will certainly recommend their products to my friends.

Ripped Off By Tyler Trigger Shoes?

I posted this thread a few weeks back and got enough responses to believe I had lost my money. On 8/ 10/ 11 I came home from work and found my trigger shoe that I had ordered 8 months ago in the mail. For the others that have been frustrated with Tyler have heart all may not be lost. It is top...

Ripped Off By Tyler Trigger Shoes?

Thanks SKORO, I'll eat my $26. but they made a really good product! I'm a machinist and it would take too much work to make only one trigger shoe.

Ripped Off By Tyler Trigger Shoes?

6 months ago I ordered a trigger shoe from Tyler. They cashed my check in about a week. I have tried to call them several times and even sent them a letter requesting the status of my order. Nothing! Their web site says they have moved and the owner died, they had a tsunami and global warming...

    The 1911

That was really cool. I just went from a S&W 915 to a Colt Gold Cup. Impressed me on the very first shot. Fits my hand like it was supposed to be there. Thanks Banek

What causes difficult bolt closing on reloads?

I had the same problem with my Ruger 243. What I found was my primers were not seated enough. I marked the entire shell with a black marker then chambered it and found score marks on the primer face. I use a RCBS hand priming tool but now I make sure they are completely seated. It doesn't take...

    Taurus 669 Jammed

I fixed the ejector rod & went to a pin shoot this afternoon & had no problems with the revolver. I shot like crap but not the fault of the gun! Funny though every time someone mentioned a Taurus every one spit!!! Most of the guns there cost a house payment! Always fun though. BANEK

    Taurus 669 Jammed

kb bailey, I know what you mean about Taurus. I hear that a lot but years ago I had a 9mm Taurus & now I'm sorry I sold it. I liked it much better than the 915 S&W I carry now. Also I can get some thread lock at work for the problem. It's not as permanent as Loctite. Thanks again to you guys. BANEK

    Taurus 669 Jammed

    Taurus 669 Jammed

I need help. I bought a Taurus 669 357 Mag. revolver recently really cheap & have had no problems with it until yesterday. Now I can't release the cylinder with the thumb piece. I flushed it out with brake cleaner & soaked it with oil but the pin still won't come out far enough to release the...

    Best Brass

Thanks right winger but why don't I have a problem with any Winchester or Remington? PMC is the least consistent when it comes to seating. I get as much as .020 difference.

    Best Brass

I've been reloading for a few years for 9MM, 357 Mag, 45 LC. I do it because it's almost as enjoyable as shooting. Almost! I pickup brass at my gun club whenever I find it but have had problems with some brands. PMC and Federal almost always wrinkle when I seat a bullet. I use Berry's Bullets...

    NOW I want a CANNON!!!

Black Powder Golf ball Cannon Since we're on the subject I have made 12 golf ball cannons. I DO NOT want to take orders. If anyone is interested I have 3 left. There will be no more. I have sold the others to friends and family. The cannons ,actually mortars, are made from 416 Stainless Steel...

Open carry, if its legal for you...

I've been in this state for all my life and have no intention of leaving because someone has a different view than mine. I completely agree with WRS840 in post 45 that I do not want to push my rights into anyone's face. I don't like it when the Libs do it to me and I am not going to do it to...
