This is a good question, because I had to think hard, so here I go.
I have two specimens: 1. Glock 23 and 2. S&W .22lr.
The Smith had to be repaired around the 400 round marker and with the Glock, I could not hit the broad side of a barn!
However, I have not experienced severe...
Yes, I would like another range rat. When combing the simplicity of a revolver and the fun factor of shooting tons of 9mm, I say why not!
Some firearm owners are very traditional, just my 0.25.
This thread has the most replies I have ever seen! :D I love my 642 and I shoot it fairly often. I shoot +p, wad cutters, FMJ'S and personal defense ammo without a problem. It is my trusty 'minigun'........:)
Great Thread
I was checking on gunsamerica for a discontinued 625 with a 5" barrel. Everyone here who posted pixs of their revolvers, let me say they are all unique as the owner... Nice wheelguns people. I now have ideas for my next revolver purchase.
Thanks for the info people, as I will purchase a high point in the future. Hey, for $125 I am willing to put it to work. A case of ammo costs more than the pistol....lol I figure what the h*ll.
I picked the CQB, because I own one, but like others have stated, they are all fine pistols. I want an Ed Brown Kobra badly. I am currently short a few thousand dollars though.
I will say it is toss up and comes down to the individual. I like both companies and have not had a problem with either to date. I think the purpose of the pistol and the options I would want would decide which one I buy.
How about a 1911, maybe an extension of your plinking duties? A good specimen can be had for under $1,000.00. I would recommend a hand cannon (460, 454, 500, but you already denied a 44), but I feel you are very practical? Happy shopping. :D
