    hand gun life

    I have a guestion for everyone. I have a Smith and Wesson M&P 45, I shoot 230 gr lrn with 4.4 gr of titegroup. good and accurate at 20-25 feet. If I were to go to a lighter bullet weight say 200 or 185. will this increase the life of my pistol or not. I shoot around 200-250 rds once a month.

    I have been using titegroup in my 357 and 45 . good powder but with lead rounds I get a lot of smoke . I am looking to get a different powder . I shoot 158 gr. swc in 357 and 230 gr. lead round in 45. What would be a good powder that will not smoke like titegroup.
