I got an old NewHaven 220K (Mossberg) from an old man at work, it is pretty rusty along the top of the barrel and can't find a serial# where do I need to look and would it be worth fixing? thanks for the help

was in the gunstore today and there before me is a slightly (not sure how many rounds) used 2nd Gen G19... two ten rounders box and papers....what's it worth? they had $399 on it....minimal holster wear, if any at all, most of the wear was on the slide release....
