Today is not only 10/22 but it's 10/22/22 so I guess today really is Ruger 10-22 Day! Here's mine. 10-22 Carbine with a 3x10 scope. Nothing fancy, boringly accurate and reliable.

So anyone heard or know if there is some sort of differences regarding the black or red followers in the 10/22 magazines? My oldest 10/22 circa 1984 has a magazine with a black follower. My newer 10/22 rifle magazine has a red follower. My Ruger American .22LR rifle has the same magazine with...
