1/2" or 5/16" dovetail front sight?

I recently bought an Egyptian Remington rolling block rifle. For whatever reason the rifle is missing it's front sight and has what appears to be a shallow 1/2" or 5/16" dovetail slot cut into it. Does anyone know of a replacement front sight I can fit into this slot? If necessary, I can try to take some pictures. The front sight doesn't have to be original looking (although that might be nice). Many thanks for any advice you all can give!

I don't know enough about rolling blocks to know which variant you have. Numrich shows front sights and check this out too. http://www.rollingblockparts.com/sights.html

My rolling block is technically a #1 (the black powder receiver) but I bet the military front site #5 from that link might work. I'll give them a call and try to get some more information. Many thanks, Chawbaccer (awesome username btw). I didn't see any front sights listed on Numrich but I always seem to get things messed up while searching on their website. If anyone else has any ideas, feel free to suggest them!

Yeah most of those seem to be the standard 3/8" dovetail. The other ones I'll have to email Numrich about and see if they have a picture or description available.
