I just bought a 1911 about a week ago. I am looking for a blued 10 rd magazine for it but all I can find are stainless in 10rd. Are they that hard to find. Plenty of 8rd blue, though.

I notice that some of the stainless steel ones (Ebay) have a sleeve while the blued ones do not. Can the sleeves be purchased somewhere separately if I purchase a blued one.

Maybe, but I haven't seen any. Try Brownell's for something like that.

metalform makes 10-rounders blued. check out cheaperthandirt for them.

I personally prefer the Tripp Cobramags in both 7 and 10 rounds.
