I used a LEE whack a mole to reload 7mm Mauser when my brother and I bought a Model 93 Mauser when I was 12 and he was 15. The rifle came through the mail ( pre 1968 ) . I am 71 now so that makes it 59 years. I got a Remington 870 in 12 gauge in 1963. At the same time I bought a 600 jr shotgun press from MEC. Started center fire rifle in the late 60's. As I added rifles, I reloaded for them. So . 22 Hornet, .243, 30 M1 carbine, 32 Rem, 303 British, 30-06, 45-70. Five years ago I bought a Remington Model 14 pump in 32 Rem, so I now reload for that. The only other rifle I have is the Siamese Mauser in 45-70.

At this moment there have been 44 people to respond, totaling 1399 years! Thank you all for playing along. Iggy has logged 65 years and Papa G is right behind him at 64. Wis-Harpo, Murf, Jim Kirk, Frogo207, and Starter 52 have each been at it more than half a century. I counted 14 with more than 40 years, 7 more with more than 30. I am 67 and just beginning. In fact, I won't get a press until the middle of January (back ordered) I look forward to learning something from each of you.

2020-1963=57. I started as a sophomore in high school when my dad bought me a 243. I started on a Herters super model 3 that I still use once in a while.

About 8 years rifle and pistol,
lots of shotgun years ago ( about 40) but I was loading trap loads by the book.
Federal Paper, Pushin Cushion, Red Dot, 1 1/8 of #8...
Had a bunch of Remmington hulls I got cheap but they were the old ones that used a different size primer than 209s. (and of course different wads)

I inherited my great-uncles Belding and Mull reloading gear in 1967, so 53 years. I've learned a lot since I joined here 7 years ago. Thanks to all who have shared their knowledge!

    That's a typo.....try 42 years!:)

Me 46 years with a big but. Walkalong most likely has 10 times the experience and expertise as me......time at it...is NOT the only gauge....the important one is time density. How much actual time per week.....Me, I'm afraid I'm a liteweight compared to many of you.

20 off and on, probably 8-10 years of serious reloading.

40 years and still learning. Have 15 or 20 loading manuals on the shelf. Haven’t bought the most recent ones because my shelf is small and they do tend to have a lot of duplicate info. Plus, Nosler, Speer, Hodgdon, Alliant, and Western powders offer current load data for free online.

I’m only in my mid 30s and have 24 years experience. I bet I could come up with a thousand years just with people I know personally. Possibly with people in my phones contact list.
