Alright guys I have always wondered this why didn't the 10mm ever take off
Recoil, limited producers of the caliber even when it first emerged (far less now that FBI dropped it), hard to fit in a compact weapon system, and generally an expensive round to shoot comparatively speaking.

For anybody here who loads for 10mm, Starline has their 10mm brass available again.

I lucked out and was able to buy a qty of 500 10mm brass. With that I will reload 500 X-Treme 180 gr. That should last my 10mm shooting needs for a year.

I've really had the hots for a 10mm for a few years now, and an affordable option came into my life last month in form of a Glock 20C. I've tried a few of the Underwood ammo options available and REALLY like this gun. For $450 I figured it was a good way to get my feet wet in a platform I don't mind beating up.

Some day I'll stumble upon a S&W 610.....some day.

Backordered is as good as it gets. That's when you can place an order. Look at most of the other brass, and you can't place a backorder at all.

So "backordered" means available in Starline world.

I'm in! I just got my EAA Witness P a couple weeks ago.
And yes, this is my first post on this forum. How cool is it that I get to join this elite club at the same time!

These are poorly done pictures, but I finally get to join the Club!

I happened to be in a local shop, getting ready to give up and put money down on a Glock 20 when I scanned a display case and saw THIS:

A brand new Para LS Hunter in 10mm.... Not only a 10mm 1911 like I wanted but a LONGSLIDE with ramped barrel and a flat firing pin stop to boot.
I'm going to go shoot it this Thursday.... looks like I'm gonna need to start reloading.

Major score tonight guys I just found a bag of STARLINE 10mm brass at the lgs I am so pumped gonna go load some

I am in as well. I love 10MM and have a dedicated reloading press for this caliber. (Dillon 550B)

I own two Glock 29s, one Glock 20SF, one Glock 20SF Longslide and a
Mech-Tech 10MM carbine conversion unit. ( with its own dedicated frame)

Photos below.

As a side note to my fellow 10MM people, if you hunt with 10MM know your limitations with high pressure ammo.

Find a barrel with good case support at the 6 o'clock position. Resize all ammo Full Length. You will know the Glock Smile eventually. Also if you're shooting lead bullets, use only Brinnell hardness of 16 or greater. 200 grain weights are my favorites thus far.

Update I got to go shoot her for the first time yesterday and all I can say is I loved it can't wait to do it again

I love my 10mm. That said...I'm going back to .357 mag. I'm tired of chasing (expensive and hard to acquire) ejected brass (that lands somewhere in the next county).

A heavier recoil spring will help keep that from happening. With my reloads, a 22lbs spring drops the brass right beside me.
