Want to reload for my 10mm. Colt 1911, 175 swc. Have Unique, w231, BE.
my Lyman said w231 - range 6.5 - 7.4grains, unique between 6.3 - 7.5 and BE 5.5 - 6.5...

Anyone have any favorite load they're using ?

Nothing for a 175 SWC, but for range plinkers, I stick with W231 never been disappointed with it yet. Have used Unique with good results too, but have started to replace it with Universal as my LNL Powder Measure isn't fussy with it like it is with Unique.

My EAA Witness Match really likes 6.6gr of W231 behind a Nosler 135gr JHP.

Still experimenting with powder choices for a 180gr FP, but it's been freezing here so I've sticking to the shop for now.

Standard disclaimers, this is for informational purposes only, all information used at your own risk, blah blah blah

I've found that 7.5gr of Unique behind a 155gr Berry's plated give me a nice "target" load moving at a chrono'd 1120fps.

12.1gr of Blue-Dot behind a 155gr Hornady XTP gives me a very consistent 1400 fps screamer load but it is one you would want to be VERY careful about loading.

I'm still testing for a load that makes me happy with 180gr and 200gr bullets.
