115gr Hornady XTP JHP over Winchester WSF?

I finally got my 500 free bullets from Hornady and now I'm looking for a solid IDPA recipe using either longshot, WST, or WSF powder. I see that on the Hodgdon website there is a load for 115JHPs using WSF but the OAL will not pass a plunk test in my XDm 5.25. I thought about running a few at 5.0gr of WSF with an OAL of 1.125 but I don't have that much experience... Anyone got any good tested formulas for the above listed bullets and powder?

Just determine what OAL your gun requires and work up a load. WSF is my main powder for the 9mm.

A typical rule of thumb is to use the oal that fits your firearm, magazine and chamber, and that will cycle reliably.

As for oal and powder charges, that is where starting at the recommended start charge comes into play, once you've determined what oal functions/fits in the firearm, start your powder work up at that oal.
