Anyone using the zero fmj 124 gr 9mm bullets? What oal are you using.I emailed zero and they recommended 1.110-1.115 with 5.0 of hp38.I'm using unique and power pistol and don't know how much to reduce the loads when the recommended length they (alliant)are showing is 1.15.unique is recommended at 4.9 gr,p.pistol 6.6 max.

I load to 1.15 to fit my magazines. You have the right idea to be worried about OAL and how it affects pressure, but keep in mind the recomendation from the powder manufacturer (alliant @ 1.15 in this case) means a lot more than what zero happens to recomend. No need to reduce the chagre as long as 1.15 fits in your mags.

The problem I have is I'm shooting these in a cz and the 1.15 won't chamber due to the shape of the bullet, they have to be seated shorter due to minimum chamber size.

How many thousands do you have to move the bullet back to make it fit? If it is a few thousands then it may not make that much difference as long as you are not at maximum powder charge. But check to make sure...:scrutiny:

If I take oal down from 1.15 to 1.115-1.12 it'll work.I was gonna drop down from 4.9 on unique to about 4.3 and from 6.6 power pistol to 6.0.I don't have any manuals with hp38 to see how they compare to what I'm using.
