Tried my first loads with IMR4831 yesterday and nosler accubond didn't like the powder(1.5-2MOA), while the hornady sst and spire went sub MOA at 56gr. Is there enought difference in the H4831? The nosler site recommends RL15,W760, and AA3100. The accubond loads also seemed to have more recoil than the others although it was seated .005 deeper to chamber. Any suggestions? thanks

The rifle is a '80 Browning BBR with a 22" tube. These loads had an OAL of 3.365 which was max for the clip. But this morning I found I could chamber 3.455, which would make this a single shot. I may try them anyway.

Try some IMR 4350. I like it in the '06 for all but the heaviest bullets, then I use IMR 4831.

Your 140g bullet is more in the middle of the weight range, so perhaps a slightly faster powder would tighten up your groups.
