I cannot find trajectory info for common commercial
    .458 SOCOM vs. .300AAC BO...
...either separately, or comparatively...anyone know a "source"?
What I want, I suspect, that there is a bullet weight/load for the .458 vs. the .300 that would have similar trajectory over the SAME range, or at least ending range, say like 200yds.
The bullet weight for the .458SOCOM would naturally be heavier, maybe 2x as the Blackout...for example, maybe a 300gr. .458 vs. a 150gr. .300...would have almost the same impact point at 200yds., if ZEROED @ 100yds...
...I DON'T KNOW, that was just an example.
But I do wan to find out.
I have in mind, the NEW Trijicon .300 Blackout specific Reticle ACOG, for both calibers.

Probably not much help but my .300 Blackout with 110 grain bullets (hand loads) are moving at 2465 fps and with a 100 yard zero drop right at 5" at 200 yards.

.300 Blackout loaded with 150 grain at a max load should get you about 1900 fps and with a 100 yard zero it will be about a 10" drop.

A 300 grain .458 bullet loaded at max would be around 2000 fps and with a 100 yard zero it would be about 10" of drop.

I don't know what factory ammo for either is but it is possible for the to be about the same. As I posted in the start, I am running a lighter bullet and moving much faster so with the 110 grain bullets it is not even close.

Ah, so it's about double the bullet weight ( or half....) yields about the same drop.
    Thanks.
