    Hello out there,

Has anyone heard of the 17 Honeybee cartridge? If so, any information about the round will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance. Andy

Interesting name, but I've never heard of it either. We've got the .17 Hornet and the similar .17 Ackley Bee sometimes just called the .17 Bee. Could that be what you are thinking of?

I don't think its either of the rounds you mentioned. I first learned of this round on Bullberry's website. They chamber barrels for the 17 Honeybee, as well as the 17 Hornet and the 17 bee. Over the last few days I haven't been able to find anything on the net, aside from a few other threads focused on wildcat cartridges. On the thread a few people mentioned the 17 and the 22 Honeybee. I posted a question, but no reply.

    check this:
I'm wanting to get a ammo display board with as many contender rounds that I can come up with, so I started pulling together a list of available chamberings for the contender. I thought you guys might be interested in seeing the list that I have so far. Please feel free to add on if I missed something or let me know if I have the same round listed with 2 different names on them. I'm not familiar with some of the rounds on there.

Couldn't fina anything on the Honeybee, but I did find a site specializing in 17 caliber (and out teeny tiny) wildcats if you want to pursue it there.

    http://www.saubier.com/articles.html

That is the article page, and there is a link to their forum on there. I did see refrenece to a 17 Mink that isnt on your list, rangerruck.
