Who makes a good one?

I really like my SW1911, but it's MSH does not have a lanyard loop, something I like on a weapon that I might use to poke around in the woods.

And YES, I do double-tie my shoelaces, wear belts with suspenders, and look both ways before crossing the street.

Howdy jfruser,

I'll take a loop on my housings too.

Smith & Alexander makes'em arched or flat...and the flat ones
can be had checkery or smoothy. Kinda pricey, but pretty good
housings. Check with Brownells. They've got'em.

Luck!

Barry asked:

Does Brownell's sell Overhaul-In-A-Can for guns? I need some.

ROFL...I remember that stuff. It didn't work. Ask me how I know...

Brownells is your one-stop shop for the 1911 pistol. You can get everything that you need to build one from the ground up right there in
that little catalog.
