There's something I plan on doing eventually, I just need to get a gun with wood grips again.

My CCW...love me some SA ;) (I apologize for the picture quality, I took them on my phone which obviously isn't the best quality)

I went through all 12 pages, and from them all, not one full rail Operator? For shame...

just sold a gun to buy a gun, finally got my 2nd 1911 and i LOVE it! just picked 'er up yesterday :)
got some ajax grips for it too, they contrast yet match with my other 1911 quite well, which is high-polish stainless with dark blue and black marble panels.

the 'spots' seen are actually reflection of a leopard-print sheet that we use as a tapestry-like lampshade for my living room ceiling... I will take better photos soon with better lighting, snapped these off real quick when I got it home

ive had a couplee of others in the past that had to be sold but this one never will. I feel the Ruger SR1911 is a very good 45.
This could very well be quintessential people's 1911. I was pretty impressed with one and I'm no 1911 guy. No integral rail to mount combat light and or laser designator may in fact make me pass on one. I'm still thinking about getting it.
