1911 PrpMag 40 rnd Drum?

Just got my latest Shooters catalog and they have a 40 rnd drum for the 1911 and it would be great for my MechTech 1911 carbine. My question is: has anyone used one of these yet and if so, how did it work?

I have seen them in mags also and it would be great in the CCU which I have also, but wondered if they would work. Someone let us know!

this is just about the thing i would need (reliable though) to get me into .45super...

I bought one specifically for use with my Mechtech CCU and IT DOES NOT WORK.

The CCU bolt drives the rounds into the feed ramp and it jams on nearly every shot.
