1911 Reliability for Self Defense?

The above battle 1911's and 2011's every weekend with markedly better reliability. But not quite as well as Glock.

I believe all of the above are manual safeties.

Something odd about the hammers. All the well tuned examples with excellent triggers had the squareish trapezoid like hammer. The round hole hammers were all ''meh''.

I think those are available. And cocked and locked carry seems plausible.

If they didn't have huge DA/SA trigger frames, they'd be a perfect 1911/2011 alternative. They really need to make a SA only frame with a smaller trigger, and a more forward position like a long 1911 trigger.
