I would go with a Rock Island Tac or any variant. The ATI are pretty nice. Not from experience but from what I have read and from looking at the RIA and the ATI in the store. The RIA should be more realible and have their customer service has been proven to be good. ATI seems like a nicer looking gun when I held it. Just the fit and finish looked nicer.
If it were me I would go with RIA. I just was in the same situation and decided to spend $50 more and get a Springfield Armory LW Champion GI for $550. The SA GI doesn't have all the bells and whistles but the size, look. feel, weight, and customer service was enough for me to spend the extra $50.
