Well after looking at 8 pages of factory 1911's and only seeing 2 guns with engraving, I don't know if you guys know what sexy is.
Factory guns are not sexy, they are just that, factory. Custom guns are just that, custom.
LETS SEE SOME SEXY 1911's
I have three colts, Two are factory and not sexy. One is custom and not sexy.
You can't get your mom to pole dance and you need some engraved guns to have a sexy thread!!!!!

Most of my 1911s aren't flashy, but I think they all look great. The Colt Combat Elite is another of my favorites in the looks department, as is the Super Carry Pro.

This was the sexiest 1911 I ever owned.


An "X" number 1911 carried by a combat Marine in the Pacific theater then brought home and statshed, fully loaded, under a couch for fifty years.
Purchased from the widow, it now resides in a dedicated collectors personal reference collection.

I kept looking for more with some signs of holster wear or other indications of real use. I am really attracted to a 1911 that looks like it has some history.

I helped a friend out that needed cash. He said it was a good shooter and was worth alot more. I thought this Norinco was going to be a "POS" when I bought it for $200. This is the best shooting 1911 frame I have ever owned. It was totally "refitted" and has had trigger and ramp worked and is as tight as they come. This Chinese ugly ducking with huge custom sights is a sharp shooting dude and better than my Springer. I should have known better as my buddy has been a machinist for 30+years.
