    Hi guys,i'm checking to see if (with all the knowledge the people on this fourm has) if this ammo is corrsive or not .It is marked LC 53 and is M1 grand clips any info would be greatly appreciated Tony

    No problem, it's noncorrosive.

    Here are the dates for the start of loading Lake City with lead styphnate (NC) primers:

    Ball, M2, lot #13700, 6/51
    AP M2, lot #13158, 4/52
    API M14A1, lot #12000, 5/52
    Tracer M25, lot #12004, 5/52
    Blank M1909, lot #12000, 4/52

    Any ammunition from Lake City manufactured from those lot numbers forward are non-corrosive, and those are the dates that it started.
