• Possible Downtime Alert

I am working to migrate THR from the current cluster to a new one. I would like to get this done before the weekend, but it's unclear what the timeframe will be, as testing is still ongoing. As I am writing this the new (rebuilt) host is doing a burn-in to ensure that everything will keep running under load.

When the migration happens users will see a Cloudflare message indicatating it cannot connect to the server. This is expected, and depending on how the migration goes this may last from 30 minutes to 3 hours - I won't know more until testing the various migration options is complete and I have finalized the plan.

More information is available in this thread.

As always, thanks so much for your patience.

I wish I could give you a price, but I know little about your rifle.

But I do want to welcome you to the forum! Be patient, someone with more knowledge will weigh in.

I think that you answered your own question with “all over the board”. In turn, you have to ask yourself about how motivated you are to sell. If not motivated, ask $4k. If you are really motivated, ask $2,500. If you are not sure, ask anywhere between $2,500 and $4k. It is hard to price these things in an “all over the board” market place. You have to balance your motivation with the buying population’s desire and ability to pay. It is a nice rifle.

I've seen those in old catalogs but never saw one in person. Uncommon enough that it's probably worth more than a standard post-64 Model 70. Really nice shape too.

It's factory drilled and tapped for an aperture sight! I'd be taking off those bases, tossing a Williams or Lyman on there, and shooting away!

Cool rifle. Have not seen a Mannlicher stock Model 70 before.

I saw one in the flesh one time about 2015. From across the room I was in love with it and walked straight to the counter near it. Price tag said 3k, unfired, box and paperwork like new. I tucked tail and walked away. Beautiful rifle but too nice for me to beat up with real use.

I have a 64 model 70 in 308 that I absolutely love. For me it is a perfect gun for most hunting here in North America. It is flat shooting and is more accurate than I am.
