1st generation Glock #20 in US

Yup.. I just purchased a Glock 17 1st generation with the old style box with a serial # that confirms it as # 20 of the first imported to the US.
It has a little holster wear but is in good condition. I intend to use it as a shooter....Anybody think that there is any collector value to it?
It's just a good old functional Glock to me...

If it's really one of the first 20 into the U.S., my guess is that there's someone out there who will probably pay you at least enough for it to buy a brand new 17 to use as a shooter.

Good point. I would only get gen 1-3; I dont think gen 4 is an improvement.

i would keep the gen 1 , i have 2 gen 2's, i would not trade my 2 for 3 new glocks, the gen 1 would be worth more than a new glock i would think. you don't see them every day.
