an lcpII is in my weak-side front pocket all the time. i carry a glock, or blackhawk strong-side owb on occasion.

murf

I have before. It is quite easy for me to but I find it unnecessary most of the time.

I do it more for the ease of a NY reload than because I might technically need 2 guns. I EDC a J frame in my pocket and if I carry two I put another J frame in my weakside pocket. Couldn't be any simpler except for the significant decrease in pocket space for the rest of my payload. I usually wear 5.11 Tac Light pants and shorts so I have enough pockets. Things sure get bulgy.

As a retired LEO and firearms instructor and defensive tactics instructor I like this response.
" better to be tried by 12,than carried by 6".
Trite yes,BUT would you rather be in the hospital [ likely after an attack ] to explain to your loved ones as to why your ALIVE !.
Or have the coroner and the cop at your loved one's door explain why your NEVER COMING HOME AGAIN ?.
If you choose to carry a gun,or not = that is your CHOICE !.
If that is comforting when 'that moment' is heard or suspected, then you will feel all that much better if you have a BACKUP PLAN,since your first "plan" went to hell in a handbasket as soon as the poop hit the fan.
IF you car breaks down while your driving, you call AAA and your gtg.
IF your PRIMARY MEANS of saving your life takes a poop [ your handgun ] while in use,who do you call ??.If you have an answer that will save your life I am all ears.

I have yet to feel the need for two concealed firearms at once. Regardless, of what some think, amount of risk is a factor. Amount of risk is not always diminished just by carrying another firearm. Amount of risk can just as easily be reduced by situational awareness and observation skills. Living in a low risk area helps too. As others have said, I have no issue with what others use/do. One needs to do what is right for them. As for having my weapon fail, I use what has always worked and maintain it. I use ammo I know performs and I practice regularly to keep my marksmanship skills honed. Wasn't but a few years ago, that it even became legal for me to CWC. Back when I couldn't CWC, I had to make use of observation skills and situational awareness in lieu of a firearm. Having a firearm on me now makes me much more comfortable. Not to say that in a different scenario I wouldn't feel differently.

any of these can be dropped into a front pocket with ease. any gun worn IWB or similar areas can be accompanied easily.

I used to carry 2 for a few years. A Glock 32 IWB and a Kahr P9 Covert ankle carried.

The P9 Covert carries well in a DeSantis Apache ankle rig, a Kydex Pocket lockit or an IWB kydex holster.

Now, retired, I only carry 2 when I'm trail walking or in the woods or on rare occasions when I go to the city.

Usually, today, It's only one. The P9 with 2 front pocket mags. They are not uncomfortable to carry being single stacks and 7 rounds each.
In cooler weather, the Glock 19 and a single mag in front pocket.

"Two is one. One is none" I've heard from various trainers over the years.
