When do the gun manufactures typically release their next year catalogs? I'm in the market for a new rifle and I am a little hesitant to buy before I see the 07 catalogs in case somebody releases something new that I would like.

Seriously, look for them being available in a couple weeks at least. SHOT is coming right up in a couple weeks so they'd want them available by then at the latest. Even f you want a new model, they may not be available for a while as they get worked into the production schedule. Even then it's sometimes beter to wait until availability equals out with the demand for new items.
