Wow, looks like a lot of fun.

That last pic kind of troubles me a bit too. Funny and ingenious, but seems rather risky, beginning with the fact that the guy has to be ultra attentive to *not* pivot his head at all (kind of hard to do with all those gun toting girls frolicking around) and compounded by the fact that the helmet he is using doesn't look too stable. It looks like it just might tilt back with the recoil... anyway, it would be interesting to try out.

Where did this shoot take place? I ask because I was raised in the same town where AA formerly was out of, and those 3 ladies do look vaguely familiar. I would guess that they're younger than I (32). But I swear they look familiar.

I had even more fun this year than last.

The cars caught fire a few times--tannerite packed trunks, and all that.

Major Malfunction (the guy with the SAW, Minigun, and CheyTac M-200 on his table) was a blast. I've been saving up to buy a can from him (AAC M4-1000) for a few weeks now, and I can't think of a nicer guy to give the money to.
The Kel-Tec guy on the other hand... I can't think of anything nice to say about him, so I'm just going to let it go.
The KAC guys were pretty cool, and the guys from SWR were a blast, just like last year.

The women were kind of distracting. There are some seriously lucky guys at AAC

JWF: The shoot was in Carnesville, GA at the Red Hill Skirmish range.
HB: The M-79 didn't need a can, and some of the guys were tagging a steel target with paint rounds mid-day.

We filmed the Silencer Shoot for SHOOTING GALLERY's 2009 season. My friend Eric Katzenberg from the Military Channel was also there shooting b-roll. Eric and I are very strong believers that if we "demystify" suppressors it's good for all of us...I personally would love to see suppressors moved from the $200 tax category to the AOW $5 tax.

Both the Outdoors Channel and the Military Channel were on site and filming during a demo I helped with for Innovative Arms. Yep, they got me on camera looking like a complete idiot not knowing how to operate basic firearms :banghead: What can I say, standing in front of two camera crews and several thousand people made me nervous The .22 pistol malfunction was NOT my fault though. Damn greasy Wolf Match Target

There were dozens of seriously hot women there. The weather was MUCH nicer this year than last. Again I didn't win anything in the raffles, but such is my luck. Can't really complain though, the $55 I spent on tickets and tshirts was well worth it. Heck, I'd have paid that just to get in the door! I definitely had more fun this year than last. Got more sunburned, too...

Robert, thanks a lot to you and everyone else at AAC for doing this every year. I know it's not cheap, but it is appreciated!

Getting them on television in front of a viewing audience does all sorts of good for shooters.

The fact that it's your job is just icing on the cake, eh?
