That looks nice! I am glad Colt is getting back into the revolver game.

I have been on kind of a 1970's moonshine/trucker movie binge that has my nostalgic side craving a 4" Python.

I hope that CZ keeps this going.

Does this mean my original copy goes up or down in value? Actually I don't care either way since I'm not selling it!

The new Anaconda doesn't look as far off from the original design-wise. The new Python certainly departed in several ways.

Here’s an article I found on it with a little more detail
https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/colt-brings-back-the-44-magnum-anaconda-revolver/

How did the original Anaconda stand up strength wise to the Smith 29 and Ruger SRH/Redhawk? Just curious as they don’t seem to be discussed as often as the Ruger and Smith when talking about 44 mag, probably since they are considered collectors items and pretty pricey on the used market.

I want a anaconda. I had an original in 90’s. But I can’t afford one OR be able to feed it. Honestly my gp100 5 inch is so badass. I need a 5.5 inch redhawk to match it for big bore

Yeah, I would like to know this too.

Hmm, I wonder if 45 Colt will be offered.

I was wondering the same thing. If so I'll probably have to fight my way to the local gun counter to place an order.

I too hope they make a .45 Colt version. THAT would be perfect.

Can I hear an "Amen!"

And I hope they have .452" throats -- so the danged thing will shoot accurately.

Me too, me too. I will let you all know if they have an offering...after I place my order.

45 Colt would get me to spend the money otherwise, I'll let the 44 cal guys have it.
