2021 colt anaconda??

I have been on kind of a 1970's moonshine/trucker movie binge that has my nostalgic side craving a 4" Python.

The new Anaconda doesn't look as far off from the original design-wise. The new Python certainly departed in several ways.

How did the original Anaconda stand up strength wise to the Smith 29 and Ruger SRH/Redhawk? Just curious as they don’t seem to be discussed as often as the Ruger and Smith when talking about 44 mag, probably since they are considered collectors items and pretty pricey on the used market.

Somehow looks a lot better than the original, which I always thought was an absolute eyesore of a revolver. Maybe it’s the redesign to the original’s ugly forward-drooping trigger guard.

I want a anaconda. I had an original in 90’s. But I can’t afford one OR be able to feed it. Honestly my gp100 5 inch is so badass. I need a 5.5 inch redhawk to match it for big bore

Me too, me too. I will let you all know if they have an offering...after I place my order.

45 Colt would get me to spend the money otherwise, I'll let the 44 cal guys have it.
