2100 joules of muzzle energy

Would 2100 joules of muzzle energy be to much for a standart infantry rifle? Would ii cause too much overpenetration?

Penetration is dependent on bullet design, not just energy.
A 10mm 180 JHP with over 600# KE will likely expand and not overpenetrate a human target.
A 10mm FMJ with over 600# KE will most likely overpenetrate a human target, but might be suitable for large animal.

Is this a unit conversion quiz? 2100 joules is 1548 ft lbs which is more than 5.56 but way less than 7.62; close to 6.8.
Overpenetration is not a factor in an infantry rifle, you WANT penetration to reach enemies with armor or cover.
