My favorite would be the one that gave me sub 1/2" groups out of a factory rifle. I think you've got it.
FWIW...I use 38.0 of H-380, WW cases, and Fed Match Primers under a Nosler 50BT. .010 off. 5 shots in one hole at 100 yards. First load I tried. Quit there.

The load du jour is 52gr A-max under 33.3gr of IMR3031. Best group is 3/8" for 5 shots at 100yds.
I tried Varget but my rifle did not like any load that I tried.
I have not chronographed my 22-250 at all.
My rifle is a Turkish Mauser crafted entirely by myself and fitted with a Remington 700 barrel, parkerized and Duracoated in flat black and sits in a Hogue overmolded stock.

I don't have the amount here in hand, but my Rem. 700 Varmit likes BL-C(2) with a Sierra 52gr. HPBT. Always good for 1hole groups.

Ruger and a Savage. Both like 38g H380 with Nosler 52g bthp. Also use Sierra and Hornady 52g bthp's.

My Remington 700 VTR has shot everything I have tried 1 MOA or better with reasonable loads and decent bullets.
It really loves 36gr Varmint Grenades in front of a case full of Varget at 4,400FPS. Now thats boogyin'!

No new info here just echoing what has been said above. Best powders I have found for the .22-250 are IMR 3031 and H380. Both provide superior accuracy however H380 meters much much much better as it is a ball powder.

I have no idea what the twist is, or even the barrel length. I got the rifle the evening before, looked at lyman loaded up and headed to the range to zero it. Was very surprised. When I am back weekend after next I can try and figure out the intricacies. Have to stick to either Tubal, VV, H4350 or Varget. That is what I have on hand...

The .22-250 is a real pleasure to shoot. You should get a lot of good, accurate use out of your Savage. I have had pretty good luck with Reloder 15, Varget and H380. I even made some decent loads with IMR4350. The .22-250 seems to be easy to please when handloading.

I've been playing with the 22-250 since 1974. My favorite load to date is Remington cases, 50 grain Hornady V Max, with 36.4 grains of Varget Remington 9 1/2 primer 2.450 COL. does under .3 MOA at 200 yards 5 shot groups in Remington 24" HB 700 3689 FPS.
All 3 of my 22-250 really like Varget. and 40 - 52 grain bullets. I generally just use 50 grain plastic tip bullets these days. Because I still do some varmint hunting a few times a year.
I gave up on ball powders such as H414 H380 AA 2700 AA 2520 years ago because accuracy changed every time I went out. It was like chasing a moving target. The consistency was not there. It was also showing up on the chronograph. Ball powders were just to temperature sensitive for my taste.
IMR 3031 can do very well with 50 and 52 grain bullets also.
I've gotten some good groups from N140 and N150 but not at good velocity.
The 22-250 works best with mild primers and extruded powders IMO.

I have had excellent performance with H380 and IMR 4320 with 52 grn bullets, barrel is 1 in 10 twist on a combination of parts. Shoot multiple 10 shot 1/4 in groups. My off the shelf Savage is coming close to that, Using Varget, H380 and H335 with 50 grn 52 grn bullets. Enjoy there a Fun Gun
