Anyone know of a manufacturer or source for .22 caliber 62gr. FMJBT bullets other than Speer? I'm looking for economy and preferably bulk but not junk.
Thanks in Advance for the responses.

Take Care

I know of two; both foreign:

IMI and Barnaul. IMI is Israeli and Barnaul is Russian. The IMI bullet is a real SS109/M-855, while the Barnaul is a copper-plated over a mild steel jacket bullet.

Speer USED to make real SS109/M-855 bullets. It still uses the real bullet's part number, but it is NOT the real military-spec projectile and has not been for years.

Want an inexpensive SS-109? Buy IMI.

Want a plinking 62-grainer? Get Barnaul. ;)

i bought 8000 of the IMI 55g FMJBT and have been very happy. For the price, it can't be beat. Definitely not junk (but not exactly sierra either). I wouldn't hesitate to buy their 62g.
