22 S/L/LR Rifles?

Every 22 I check is 1-16" twist...

I don't think I've seen a 1-18", but I haven't checked any really old 22's either...

When I got my first 22 back in the early 60’s shorts were significantly cheaper than long rifles, a big factor when I was bringing in a whopping $0.50 per hour. These days, I don’t see any reason to shoot shorts in a long rifled chambered rifle.

Right you are, DM. I measured a couple of mine and they were 1-16. Don't know where I got that 1-18 idea in my head.
