Hello everybody,
Im contemplating a new "ultra-evil rifle" project with an AR 15 and a supressor. however, i have some questions about the 5.56 round. what length of bbl will say, a 55 grain bullet get its best ballistics out of? and what range would that bullet be effective up to? also, how would a supressor effect the performance of the bullet? accuracy? energy? fps?
any advice is greatly appreciated!!:D

24" - 26" will get all the meaningful velocity.

Effective against what?
Minute of varmint accuracy at 400 yards on a calm day with that light a bullet.

Can't speak for how much a can would effect performance. There are many different ones, as well as different means of attaching them that could effect accuracy, but none will help it any.
