.223 Brass help

Hey fellas
Streamliling my bench and only keeping what i will use. Home sick today so i thought I would sort some brass with 223 I have decided to go with PMC once fired but as i cull out all the defects dings crimped primers crushed necks ejector marks on the heads (I GOT A LOT) I have noticed a good amount of it is buldging just above the head I am sure it is once fired the buldge maybe due to a sloppy action from the gun they were shot from. Is this going to cause me a problem with my reloads? did i make a bad choice going with PMC? and a good amount of the case necks are dirty (carbon) any good ideas on cleaning?

Without seeing anything first hand it does seem to me you're culling out alot of good brass. Discolered brass? Get a tumbler. How new are you to reloading?

Clean the brass in a tumbler.

Full-length resize it, using a proper case gage.

Shoot it.

Inspect for stretch marks.

Discard when a ring appears, or when you have an unacceptable number of head separations.

Load small lots of brass until you know it is good.
Sucks to have 1500 primed cases of worn-out brass.

JC thank you for chiming in.
Yes I am culling out a lot of good brass I have 1000s and 1000s of reloads and could not count the number I have loaded and shot.
Looking for one headstamp to run with this winter and toss out the other 20,000 or so looking for the best of. And yes I have three tumblers humming in the garage was using walnut shells with a lil thinner just a lil, but it buggered up the top of my lyman turbo.
I have been reloading for years but thought I could gain a bit of good info from a fellow reloader that may know more then me.

What other headstamps do you have? Not sure if I'd go with PMC, but hey I like Lake City and many claim thats garbage, so I guess its whatever works for you.

Don't forget brass itself gets good $$$$ on the scrap market. I turned in just short of $1000.00 bucks worth of .22 cases last summer.
