So i need something to shoot that is cheaper,i currently own 2 .45acp pistols.
Im just not sure wich way to go,as it may affect my range time a bit if i get a rifle?I generaly shoot 25y or 25' depending on the range.
What im saying is i dont want to pack all my stuff up and go to a differant range to shoot a rifle, one place i go is indoor and it does have seperate ranges.Would most let you shoot a .22 rifle on the pistol range?
The pistol aspects i think i have it pretty well covered in what i want if i go that route,Walther p22.I know about the other really good ones, but i dont like thier looks.Considering the Taurus .22 also.
But for rifles im kinda lost,i did read a bit and also shop a bit.
For the money i find the ruger 10/22 the best deal at $200
But ive also seen Savage,Mossberg and Remington .22's below $200 But are any of those so bad i should stay away from? All are new current models also.
So considering my shooting habits wich you think is more fitting? I dont hunt, but a .22 rifle is always a good tool,a .22 pistol i look more at like its a "toy" i know its not,im just saying it wont serve much function past its fun abilities.I do ccw,and dont carry a bug,but it could work in a pinch.
Even tho id find throwing my .45 to be more effective.
