Years ago, SARCO had marketed a device that used grenade rounds (762x39) to launch something like a yard jart w great range. There was some kind of leagal issue w it. Dose anyone know what I'm reffering to? Was all over SGN back in the day.

No info on that, but they make a screw on device for AR's that supposedly shoots golf balls about 500 yards with .223 blanks.

There's an AR upper for launching cans/tennis balls. These are too much fun.

I don't recall such a thing in Shotgun News, and I read about every issue I came across years ago. A basic search doesn't show much other than pneumatic darts for tranquilizers, and video game stuff. I did get a golf ball launcher for my brother's AR as a birthday present, but I don't think he has used it. The can cannon is tempting me.

When I hear about 'jarts,' I can't help but think of the 1970s.

It was back when Yugo m66s (sks) were about 90 bucks. These had grenade launchers on the barrel & a gas block grenade sight.
