I would very much appreciate it if yuo guys could help me with a load for this bullet and powder. I´ve used the search tool but it is very confusing for I´ve seen charges ranging from 4.9 to 5.7 gr. I´m looking for a charge that will give me aproximately 750-820 fps.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

With LRNs, 5.0 grains of W231 gets me 797 fps out of a 4" barrel. 5.3-5.4 grains of W231 gets it up to 850 fps and also is about the most accurate for me so that's my standard 45 load with 230 cast bullets.

I haven't chronyd my flatpoint or TC cast bullets, but close to the muzzle I don't think the bullet speed would be any different.

I cast a 230g TC from a Lee mould and I use 5.3g W231 for a factory duplication load. WLP.

I charge 5.5gr W231 under a 230gr LRN bullet for the .45 Auto. That's my go-to load because it always works well...

I agree with ArchAngelCD, 5.5 Grs W-231 will work with almost any 225 to 230 grain lead .45 bullet. Shot it for years with whatever cheap cast bullets I could find at the gun shows.
