230 Grain Golden Saber - $9.99 for 25??

10 bucks for 25 - 230 Grain Golden Saber JHP's seems like a darn good price to me. Was thinking of buying up a bunch to try but not sure how they would perform out of 3.5" barrel carry gun. I may buy some up to try and keep around for my full size HK.

I thought the price was a mistake when I saw it or is this not that great? Never bought any of this stuff before.

that's a real good price. i use them in my springer mil-spec for defense loads. supposed to be one of the better loads for that. who's got'em that cheap?

A local Gander Mountain. The 9.99 sticker is on top of a 17.99 sticker. Don't know if it is just this store or not. They are having a "clearance" sale but these weren't marked that way.

Sounds like a good buy to me.

That's only $20 for a full 50. Remington's packing of 25 in the reduced capacity box, is a much better deal than some other makers, who sell 20 at a time.

Never tested the Rem GS in short barrelled pistols myself. Nice thing about the .45 ACP: It doesn't matter if it expands or not. It is not gonna shrink. The HP functions as a nice, flat meplat even if there's zero expansion.
