Saw that 2400 can be used in 10mm. I would be using 180gr Hornady Action Pistol bullets and WW LPP if i did load this combo. Im aware of all of the load data in the manuals. It does not give as much velocity as other powders such as AA#9 Blue Dot, or my favorite Longshot, but i am curious in it anyways. I do have an ample amount of 2400, 8# to be exact. Does it have good accuracy? Does it leave lots of grains behind like 2400 does if not loaded to the right pressure? My guess is 2400 is a tad too slow for 10mm to be optimal. Im just curious if anyone has personal experience with 10mm and 2400. Im sure some who have never loaded this combo before will chime in with expertise on the matter, and thats fine too. Thanks guys

What is your main gun you'd be loading for?? If it's an auto, results may be not be as desired. If it's a revolver then you can work around that some.

Ahh ha! Thank you for reminding me.
Glock 40 MOS gen 4- lone wolf 6" barrel
CMMG Banshee- 8" barrel
Both auto-loaders.
With the CMMG i purposely load down, as the pressures rise up towards 10mm upper end, the brass bulges beyond MY capabilities to reload them due to the fully un supported chamber of the Banshee AR 10mm. No way around it.

If shooting in a carbine/rifle, I could see 2400 being of some use.
Since you have the powder, try it.

Possibly work up a load tailored for the Banshee using 2400? Now theres an idea to try. If it gets good velocity or accuracy, without bulging the cases, that would be impressive. Im going to give it a go.
