Hello to all,
I'm brand new here on THR, I have a question that I hope someone may be able to help me with.

The story is quite long so I will give you the "in a nutshell" version, I just came across a large tupperware type container full of 25-06 live ammo. There are over 500 rounds total.

I have no use for them and would to find them a new home. Ideally, I would like to sell them and donate the money. From what I understand, guns & ammo can only be shipped through a licenced gun shop.

If anyone can give me any info on where I might be able to list them and the best way to handle this situation.

Advertise it in a local paper, or here on THR.

It very likely could be reloads, and nobody but a reloader is going to want it for anything other then to pull it apart for the components.

You can ship it yourself through UPS or FedEx.
Package has to be marked ORM-D.
Paper work has to state small arms ammunition.

Hi RC,
I'm not sure if they are reloads or not, there are 28 boxes total. Some of the boxes are worn a bit, some don't look like they have been opened before. There are 3 boxes of ballistic silvertips (85 grain).
From what I understand, reloaded shells will have a light mark on the casing. I have only looked at a few, and I don't see any marks.
In the container holding all of these shells, was a bag with 5 or 6 boxes and a receipt for the purchase. I'm pretty certain that most (if not all) are not reloads.
