anyone have info about this rifle was my uncles marking on barrel are savage hi pressure steel model 1899 manufactured by savage arms company utica ny usa pat feb7 1893 july 25 1893 oct 3 1899 may 25 1909 june 1 1909 any info will be apreciated thanks

Sounds like a Savage Model 1899 lever action in 250-3000 ( AKA 250 Savage)

Depending on condition it could be rather valuable.

Manufactured between 1914 and 1921, takedown frame
