Is it really worth it to try and reload this round. The factory rounds are working fine for me. Why should I spend the money and time to reload myself. I guess the equipment cost might be worth it eventually if I reload my .45 loads but I only shoot maybe 500 rounds a year through the Ruger. So is ti worth it to take up the "hobby"

It depend on how much you plan to shoot. Dies cost about a much as a box of federal prem. or win supreme ammo. You can spend $10 and up for a box of bullets. Then the cost of powder and primer I can reload 50-75 rounds for the price of 20 factory rounds
