Some of you may recall me having a cow in the complaint department about some new Enfield stocks that took a year to receive, a few months ago. After much procrastination and taking care of a lot of other things going on, I finally got to work on the old girl.

Well, I spent the better part of today inletting and fitting all the stock pieces to my 2A1; the cold blue experiment from last year.

I have shot this gun a grand total of 10 times in the last three years because the old original stock was oil rotted. I have bedded it twice with Acraglas gel, but the wood itself kept tearing out. :banghead:

Picture quality stinks. I will get some better ones in the daylight tomorrow:

I still have to disassemble it again and strip and stain that stock, followed by about 8 coats of BLO. I think I am going to go ahead and glas it again too. But that is for another day...
