Oh man, hate that shrouded rod! It looks like a Ruger!:eek:

There's a Medina, OH gunshow coming up next week... the day after payday! I never find anything odd or unusual there, but this is exactly the kind of thing I'd expect to find, and maybe for not much money.
 
How are those Mitchell Lugers? Are they as hideous as their [not very] High Standards?

Actually, they are quite good and are beginning to become collectables in their own right.
They are copies of the 1936 Mauser. Since I already had an original 1936 Mauser AND another Mitchel Luger, the choice to trade was easy!!

You STILL ain't getting my 65LS!!! :neener:
 
I was at my local gunshop today. He had a 3" 65-5 in the case. He was busy, so I didn't look at it too close. Showed some scratches and honest wear. $425 He'll take less, maybe.

I'd be glad to go check it out if anyone's interested.
