30-06 88 headstamp

    my chick picked me up some brass from the shop from her house and about 50 of the 06's she got had that headstamp. i see the its a boxed primer but my question is since its military brass is there different specs on the powder charge in reloading these? she also picked me up about 500 .308 and around 100 of them have match on them so i firgure they would be different also? thanks for the help

    also is there a website to show all the different headstamps for each round or do you just have to search the interoogle all of them?

    I would not make any assumptions about foreign brass. You can do a water volume test to determine the volume, but I would probably not try to reload this brass. You should start low and work up any load for new brass, but you don't really have enough to do this. You can purchase good USGI brass for around 12-15 cents each on most gun forums, such as cmp forums. That's good brass of known quality and for which it is easy to find load data.
