Hi All,
I got my bullets from hornady 30.06 is what I will be loading first , I have a lot of H335 powder so I thought I would use that , the bullets are 150 grain ,what they offer with there free bullets , I need a good load data for this bullet using the H335 powder. Thanks TEDMI.

Tdb,

First post here, but I think I can help you.

Like you I had a bunch of H335, and I was burning up in a Galil and figured why not try it in a Winchester 1917 Enfield. I used 147 grain FMJ BT's seated to the cannelure, but not crimped, and 49.5 grains of H335. Over the screens the results for four shots were:

3002
2984
3004
3013

Further informal shooting at targets up to 300 yards showed good accuracy, and continued no pressure problems. Obviously metering was about perfect, and it was a nice way to not have to dump and refill the measure and stay with one propellant during caliber changes. Just a note, these results were from about 12 years ago but I would think that H335 has remained pretty much the same... YMMV.

Well, I see a lot of other posts I would like to add to, and hope you have good luck with the H335/30-06!

The Hornady 7th edition lists H335 data for "Garands" using 150-155 grain bullets. (Below)

2400fps 2500fps 2600fps 2700fps 2750fps
H335 36.9 39.6 42.4 45.1 46.4 (Max)

FWIW I've used this data with my Garand and it shoots some pretty nice groups right around 43.5 44.0. (old remington 150 grain spire points)

Have a good one,
Dave
