Buy once cry once??? I've no love for the rem 74x semiautomatic rifles, there was a time when they were "pretty cool" but like some horses I've had (when comparing to options available now) they're something I'd like to forget any dalliance with.Jeeze, guy comes in here wanting to know if a certain type of ammo with cycle and everyone is trying to sell him on a replacement rifle.

I.e. he hasn't bought it yet, so trying to save him from taking the wrong date to the dance.
There's a semi auto .30-06 that'll feel more like a .308 no matter how heavy the load is if you're really wanting a reliable comfortable shooting alternative........pic is very helpful...I will look for this before buying the 7400 I have my eyes on.
What the heck. I bought a savage .243 just because a coworker gave me a coffee can of brass. Sounds fun to use say h4895 to see how starting low and working up till proper functionThanks guys....just looking at a used 7400 for $400 in 30-06...don't like kick so I'm wondering if low recoil loads will cycle
