I had heard that if you wanted to expand these cases,you could use the powder die from a .30 carbine to do that.I'm using cast, gas checked bullets so would like to be able to expand them even tho jackete doesn't need it.
I've only just begun to try it , but do not see how the operating handle can go full throw with that powder die installled...the outer die body just doesn'et have enough threads to raise it high enough for the taller thutty thutty brass to work with it.
has anybody done this?
I'll call Dillon tomorrow when they're open...they sold me the die and had heard that it works.
